On the topic of men not being allowed to cry or in general suffer.. I listen to a podcast with a psychologist on youtube from the channel HealthyGamerGG who made a very valid point: From a very young age boys are raised not to cry not to show weakness when they fall down and get hurt not to express their emotions with the exception of the emotion ANGER. The thing is when you grow up you aren't allow to display that emotion as an adult because it scares people so you are systematically being raised and taught to shut down and never show any emotion of any sort.
